Is this an awesome shelf or wall art? Both!
Do you have a blank wall you don’t know what to do with? If you can use a power saw you can make this archetectural feature for your home. It takes up zero floor space, yet provides nooks to display all sorts of decorative items. It add so much style to any blank wall that it could be the main feature of the room.
No fireplace? No problem. Use this as the focal point of your room decor. Considering how much visual impact this shelving unit has, it delivers a lot for the cost. That’s bang for your buck!
If you think you can’t make this, you could hire someone to make for you. However the skills needed are just basic cutting with a power saw following pencil lines to cut. You could practice on cheap wood, but I don’t think that’s necessary.
Use cheap plywood and paint it an accent color for your room. Pottery Barn has made a black finish one of its signature looks. Or just varnish unstained plywood for a retro mid-century modern look.
