Christmas is almost here! I want to share some of my very favorite Christmas recipes with you. (These work well for New Year’s too.) Click on the name of the recipe and enjoy!
Walnut Surprise Squares–these are quick and easy to make and taste wonderful. A thin flaky crust gives way to a caramel flavored sticky center with nuts here and there. Heaven. These have been a favorite in my family for years. They are inexpensive but taste decadent!
Christmas French Toast with Apples and Cranberries–assemble the night before for an easy morning. This one is full of flavors and Christmas color!
Mother Load Pretzels–easy and fun to make with the kids. These look festive and are nice enough to give. Also they are really yummy!
My Dad’s Basting Sauce for Pork Roast–a very personal gift from me.
Boursin Herbed Cream Cheese–an easy, cheaper version of the gourmet Boursin you can buy. This is so good with raw veggies or on crackers as an appetizer. If you have any leftover it’s really good added to Beef Stroganoff.
If you only try one of these, I suggest the Walnut Surprise Squares. They might be my favorite recipe of all time. What are your favorites for the holidays?
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas with those you love! Enjoy every moment!
