|So Easy, So Pretty|
Most Mom’s enjoy being taken out to dinner, but bringing them something you took the time to make for them has extra meaning. Click on these links for some of my favorite Mom’s Day ideas.
Any of these Beautiful Strawberry Treats for Mom say I love you and don’t cost much. As I’ve said before, strawberries and Mother’s Day just go together. Easy chocolate-covered strawberries are linked there also. They are super easy to make and cost much, much less than the ones you can buy. Much fresher too!
The Best Fruited Chicken Salad in the World served on a tender croissant is such a treat. Make this for Mom as part of a little lunch or brunch. I like a brunch because you can include the extended family and honor all of the moms. Add a fresh fruit salad, good coffee, and a strawberry dessert. Yum. Wisdom from My Mom I wrote this last year, but it remains true. Mom has had some health changes since then, but is still an inspiration to me. Her plucky spirit is amazing.
Happy Mother’s Day to all who care for a child. It’s still the most important job in the world.
Click here for a show-stopping dessert: Triple Chocolate Pavlova with Fresh Strawberries. It’s gorgeous and perfect if you are just making dessert for Mom! It’s actually fairly inexpensive to make, but you’d pay a lot for this at a bakery. It looks difficult to make, but it’s not!
