|Steak! It’s a Deal!|
If you are in the New York City area you might want to treat yourself to the best buy in steaks: a $15 steak that’s rated the Best Steak in NYC. You don’t have to go to more chi-chi or upscale places to have the best.
Take a ride to Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood to experience this bit of perfection called “The Butcher’s Steak,” known as a hanger steak in most places. New York Magazine calls it the best steak in town. Side dishes are extra, about $6 each. The fried mashed potatoes are crusty and topped with a bit of truffle oil. Drinks are not cheap, so plan accordingly.
Sounds like a great deal for New Yorkers and tourists alike. You will have to wait at least 40 minutes to be seated, so maybe call ahead to put your name in line.

Click here for the New York Magazine post. Looking at the photo there, it seems you can dress casually if you like. I’m putting this on my list for when we go to NYC. It fits my philosophy of getting real value for my money. Enjoy!
