I love a beautiful ribbon bow serving as a napkin ring for holiday meals and parties. They add a lot of color to a table, they make the napkin seem like a present, and they can be reused every year! But sometimes you are going for a more simple, elegant look. Enter these printable napkin rings with your guests’ name printed on each. If you add a sprig of fresh herbs or evergreen (can be from a live Christmas tree) you get a very chic look. Tuck in a small candy cane for a little more Christmas color. These would be great printed with the new year on them for a New Year’s party.

If you are going for a more traditional look almost any kind of bow will look wonderful around a napkin. I love a fabric satin ribbon bow for a luxe look. You can simply iron any wrinkles away after the party to make the ribbon ready to use again. A beautiful red, green, or silver ribbon look gorgeous for this. Leave some longer tails on these bows to look even more luxurious. You might be able to find a good deal on this ribbon at your local fabric or craft store.
A fun simple look is to just cut a piece of wrapping paper to make a ring around the napkin. Tape it in place and tie with a red cord or string. This is great for a a more casual get-together.
What I love about ribbon napkin holders is that they are easy to do and have a big result for so little work! Just about any ribbon works! Remember to set your table early in the day, possibly even the night before. That way you can focus on the meal knowing your have a beautiful table ready.
