I love a quick side dish for the holidays. These green beans are made with frozen whole green beans and look so nice on a plate. Keep the bright green color by not overcooking.
The very best green beans are fresh, in my humble opinion, but these are easier when you are coordinating a holiday meal.
One commenter said that if you use olive oil in the recipe they are even good cold the next day. Talk about an easy side dish!
If you want to dress these up a bit you can add sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese, cooked mushrooms, toasted nuts, cooked onions or crumbled cooked bacon. I wouldn’t add more than two of those & one is probably enough.
