We love warm apple crisp in the Fall. Is there anything more comforting? You don’t have all the extra fat from a pastry crust like you get with pie. And the crunchy sweet topping is the perfect foil to the silky sweet apple slices. It’s wonderful with a cold glass of milk. Or you can go all the way to luxury and add a scoop of good vanilla ice cream.
