I like the suggestion of having a bowl of oatmeal with some sliced bananas on top. They both actually have melatonin in them to make you feel better. Another suggested food Rx was to have some M&M’s with the peanuts in them. I knew there was a reason I liked them so much! My own personal stress buster is licorice. I like any flavor, but the black licorice seems to help the most. You can really take your aggression out on it too! lol
I like brussels sprouts for making me feel very content. I guess they qualify as a leafy green veggie. I keep frozen ones to boil up for a nice little snack with butter or fake butter spray. Very yummy.
One last tip: try taking a vitamin B complex supplement for more energy and great stress-fighting vitamins! That’s what’s in those 5-hour energy drinks along with the amount of caffeine you’d get in one cup of coffee.
