This looks wonderful. I love a plain cheesecake with fruit on top, but this one is calling to me. Served cold on a plate with chocolate topping it could be very cooling on a hot summer night. (Even if the recipe was posted originally for Thanksgiving.)
There is a lovely chocolate layer on the crust topped by the spiced cheesecake mixture. The recipe says to top each individual piece with melted chocolate, but I’d like to put it on ahead of time to let it cool in the fridge. You could even make this for Halloween & make a spider web with the chocolate on top. Just drizzle on concetric circles & draw a table knife through it (just on the surface) to make the web look. Heck, I’d like that look even in the summer with perhaps a fresh strawberry added to each piece. For Halloween you could add a spider instead.
