There’s no such thing as too much leftover ham! You can use it a million ways and not get tired of it–at least at our house.
We like to freeze the nice-looking slices for a quick ham dinner to use when we’re too tired to cook. We often make baked potatoes in the microwave, then microwave the frozen ham slices for a few minutes in a shallow bowl with water covering the ham. Some green beans go well with this and are also quick. Open some applesauce for another good go-together that is totally easy. Most kids like this menu as well.
All the smaller pieces of ham are great to freeze for other quick meals. Click the title for links to all of these great recipes using ham. One of my favorites is the quick meal of ham pieces mixed with tortellini and peas. Yum.
