This is so elegant to serve for a special occasion. It can be a dessert or even a first course or appetizer (in smaller portions). Or add it to the top of salad greens for a beautiful, flavorful salad. You could make it a whole meal salad by adding cooked chicken to the salad, mix, and then top with the pretty fanned pear, blue cheese, & honey. Fantastic!
The linked recipe says if you are in a hurry, just put it all in a blender & then take that as a snack. It’s quicker to just put it in a container as is (even if it messes up the pretty fan look) & take it like that for a snack. Quicker, easier, & looks a lot nicer to eat, IMHO.
This recipe is so simple you almost don’t need a recipe! For each serving it’s a half pear with 2 tablespoons of blue cheese & a drizzle of 1/2 teaspoon honey. Sigh.
