We all know that clothes worn for a short time should not be thrown in the laundry. Saving them to wear again helps clothes last longer, keeps your water & electric bills down, & helps the environment. But do we really want to put them back in the closet with the clean clothes? Here are ways to handle this problem.
Some use a regular standing coat rack in the bedroom for this. Others attach a coat rack with many hooks onto the wall. You can also put hooks on the back of a door like you might see on a bathroom door.
Be sure to read the comments section for ways that people handle their clothes that are just not dirty enough to put in the laundry. One person said they just fold them & put them on a chest at the foot of their bed.
You can use a very simple coatrack that is just a piece of wood with hooks on it. It takes very little space in the room and does the job. The photo above shows garments on hangers, but you certainly don’t have to do that.
