It just so happens that the very best beef stroganoff recipe at AllRecipes is made in the slow cooker. How great is that? It makes for easy entertaining.
As I’ve mentioned before, I sometimes use some Boursin herbed cream cheese in my stroganoff, especially if I have any left after the holidays. If you do that, just use that much less of the cream cheese called for in this recipe. Yum.
Any shape pasta works with this. Flat one-inch wide noodles are traditional, but use what you like.
