A few items got my attention in this slideshow. You can use white “eyelash” yarn as a garland on your tree (or in other decorations). For one tree they took cinnamon sticks and ivy (fake, I assume) & sprayed it with gold paint and put them on the tree. If you do this, consider that a light spray of gold (or silver) often looks nicer than totally covering with the gold paint. I like that look with all sorts of natural items, from pine cones to acorns.
The ivy and cinnamon sticks could be nice as part of a mantel decoration, garland, or centerpiece.
Always be careful using spray paint, especially metallics. Be careful to not breathe in the vapors/spray. Use a cardboard box as your spray box to contain the spray. Do it in a well-ventilated area. Follow directions on the can carefully.
