Wow, that’s cheap. It’s also pretty darn healthy. I like to use leftover chili for even quicker prep. For guests I’d bake the potatoes in the oven to get the best texture. For just dh & me potatoes baked in the microwave is fine. Now that’s a quick meal.
You can get this same meal at Wendy’s by ordering the plain baked potato and a small chili. It’s a very healthy choice for very little money.
I love a baked potato bar for game day or when feeding a crowd. You can add whatever you like for toppings, including shredded cheese, chopped onions, hot sauce, sour cream, etc.
