Make these as bar cookies & cover with melted chocolate chips. The recipe calls for corn flakes, but you can substitute other cereal if you like. I like corn flakes for the chewiness factor. You can easily use generic corn flakes in this.
Many people said it took them just 5 minutes to make these, and one person said they sell a lot of these. See the photos to see if you want to make them as drop cookies or bar cookies. I think they look a lot better as bar cookies. Some reviewers didin’t like the combination of butterscotch chips melted with the chocolate chips for a topping. I’d go with just chocolate chips, but that’s just me.
These do not have as many calories or fat grams as most peanut butter chocolate cookies. It does call for corn syrup if you are watching for that.
