This syrup is supposed to really taste like blueberries! Not like the blueberry syrups that just taste sweet. This recipe takes 5 cups of blueberries and turns them into 4 cups of blueberry syrup. No wonder it tastes like blueberries! And there is no high-fructose corn syrup in it either.
You can keep bottles/jars of this in the fridge for up to 6 months, but if you don’t have the room you could probably put some in the freezer.
This is good on buckwheat pancakes, French toast, ice cream, cheesecake, pound cake, plain bread pudding, and in smoothies, yogurt, etc.
