Wow, if you like Kanzashi flowers you have got to see this one. It’s similar to the usual petals except that half the petals are shorter than the other half. You alternate short ones with long ones as you thread them to make the flower. It looks really cute in the light aqua and yellow patterned fabric. You can make it a piece of jewelry (usually a pin) or use it to embellish an article of clothing or a handbag, hat, hair band, etc.
The other fabric flowers are great for the same type of embellishments, but give a more irregular and relaxed looking flower. Some are just too cute. You can arrange a set of 3 on the shoulder of a tank top for a very current look. You can sew them on or pin them on.
With all the embellishments showing up on just about any kind of fashion these days (even swimsuits) you can easily update your wardrobe for almost no money. You could even place fabric flowers to cover up a stain or hole in the fabric. Why not? Or arrange them to draw attention to your best features.
