I’m thinking this would be gorgeous for Easter brunch or any brunch. There are a lot of comments about changes that people made, but no consensus. Some used French bread, some used Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Swirl bread, etc. Others used whipping cream to make it even more decadent. One person reduced the sugar from 3/4 cup to 1/2 cup because it seemed too sweet to her. I will follow her example as we don’t like things too sweet. One person left out the raisins, but to me raisins make it extra good.
