This is a pretty good list by Myscha Theriault. You might find something on it that you’d like. It could also inspire your own creations.
I’m adding some more ideas, some of which are my own.
You could make some strong grocery tote bags, or totes for camping gear or other gear. How about throw pillows for a teen’s room or a family room? A hanging organizer using pockets from jeans? Curtains for a teen’s room? They could be pieced together & let the frayed parts be on the outside. A similar look could be a bedspread.
How about place mats with the pocket on to hold napkin and cutlery? The napkin could be a bandana handkerchief tucked into the jeans pocket for a stylish cookout. There’s always the jeans skirt–google for directions. How about a chef’s apron from denim? Lastly there’s always cutting off the legs to make jean shorts, or as we boomers used to call them, “cut-offs.”
