Rosalind Creasy figured out a compact way to get the veggies she wanted from a fairly small space.
It’s a space 2 feet wide and 50 feet long. Why? It fits into her landscaping. She calls it her edible landscaping!
She used the Square Foot Gardening method, invented by Mel Bartholomew, to get the maximum from the smallest space. Isn’t that what we all want?
You can make your garden whatever shape you want, even 10’x10′. Or just make it big enough to grow the veggies you want.
I love that she gives the names of the varieties of vegetables she planted. The peppers were chosen for getting more red and orange ones. That kind are pretty expensive in the stores and add so much to cooking. They add flavor, color, and extra vitamin C–a super food!
