Never Eat Alone by Keith Farrazzi has a lot of good ideas on how to improve your people skills for success on and off the job. It’s not an easy read, in my humble opinion, but the title alone gives me great ideas for networking! Many times personal finance bloggers suggest reading Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People as the bible for improving your people skills. It contains basic advice that anyone can understand and apply. It also sounds like a primer for salespeople. Farrazzi goes way beyond that.

The parts are arranged last to first, so if you want to start at the beginning (not a bad idea), scroll down to the bottom of the page & work your way up. It’s a lot to take in at one time, so don’t try to read it all at once. You might want to bookmark it to read again at various times to really apply it to changing situations in your life.
