Attention wedding planners and party planners!
This would be a fabulous centerpiece for many holidays and special occasions, but make the size fit the number of people who will be eating it.
So many people are trying to eat healthy these days that fruit is a happy find amidst all the high calorie items.
Feel free to assemble this with the fruits you like and in the style you like. The photo is just inspiration for your creativity. Add tropical fruit for a luau.
Personally I’d prefer it taller and thinner more like a waterfall. Or keep this shape and use some greenery (cabbage leaves? broccoli florets?) on the island with fruit as a waterfall? That would also cut down on the amount of fruit you’d have to buy. Experiment to get a look you like.
This would be a show stopper at a luau party! Add tropical fruit and tropical looking flowers. You can add banana slices that have been dipped in orange juice to prevent browning. Cheap & yummy! Click here for how to throw an easy luau party that doesn’t have to be expensive. It’s a fun party you can have any time of year, but is extra fun in the summer!
Make this a beautiful part of a cocktail party buffet-especially gorgeous at a wedding! Add flowers and other natural accents if you like. Whole lemons and limes look nice too.
